Hello! My name is Bill Meyer and I am a mechanical music collector from the Syracuse (Central New York) area.

I have been actively collecting, restoring and repairing: vintage music boxes, crank wound phonographs

(record players commonly referred to as Victrolas) and other mechanical music machines, since 1981.

My collection consists of eighty phonographs, a dozen disc and cylinder music boxes, two roller organs,

a Mason & Hamlin - Ampico reproducing player piano, a Violano Virtuoso and an Engelhardt nickelodeon.

I also enjoy collecting Vogue picture records and anything else related to mechanical music.

 

I have restored over 1500 phonographs and at least 2000 reproducers in my 44 years of collecting.
